TICKETS TO FREE THE HOPS OKTOBERFEST WILL BE AVAILABLE AT THE GATE ON THE DAY OF THE EVENT.  THIS IS A CASH ONLY EVENT.

 

Date: September 19, 2009

Time: Session One - 12:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M.

           Session Two - 6:00 P.M. to 10:00 P.M. - You are purchasing a ticket to this session.

Location: 2100 Morris Avenue - 2125 Morris Avenue, plus adjoining parking lots

Admission: $15 per session (limited edition 12.5 ounce beer glass included)

Beer: Premium beer is $3 per glass.  "High Gravity" beer is $5 per glass.  Advance ticket purchasers receive 2 beer tasting samples.

Food: The J Clyde + Rogue Tavern + Angels Cakes and Confections

Music: Die Mitternaechters

Parking: Free parking is located to the South of the festival grounds between Morris Avenue and the railroad tracks.  Enter Morris Avenue from 23rd Street and follow parking signs.  While we will have Birmingham Police officers patrolling, we are not responsible for lost or stolen items or any damage to your vehicle.

Ages: THIS IS A 21+ EVENT.  NO GUESTS UNDER 21 WILL BE ALLOWED ON SITE.  NO EXCEPTIONS.

Terms and Conditions:

All Patrons will be required to sign a waiver before entering festival grounds.  By purchasing tickets, you agree to sign waiver (view waiver by visiting www.freethehops.org/oktoberfestliability.pdf).  Failure to sign waiver will result in refusal of entrance and no refund will be offered.

Name on ticket must match name on ID or multiple forms of ID must be presented.  If you purchase a ticket for someone else or sell your ticket, email oktoberfest@freethehops.org or come prepared with two forms of valid ID.

All ticketholders, regardless of age, must show valid identification for admittance.  Failure to provide valid ID will result in no admittance and no refund will be given.  There will be no exceptions.

Rain Policy: This is a rain or shine event.  In the event of rain, the event will be located at an indoor facility.  Email and sms updates, as well as signage at original site, will indicate alternate weather plan.  If inclement weather occurs after 2:00 P.M. or after 8:00 P.M. (depending upon the session), or if less than two tenths of an inche (0.2") of rain falls, no refunds will be offered.

No Passes Out: Patrons may not leave event and come back without purchasing a new ticket.  This is for your safety and the safety of other patrons.


Limitation of Liability

Stay alert at all times before, during, and after event.  If injured, immediately ask a security guard for directions to a medical station.  You assume all risks incidental to the event for which a ticket is issued, whether before, during, or after event, and you waive any claims for personal injury or death against JRO Entertainment, LLC and Free the Hops on behalf of yourself and any accompanying party.

 

License; Ejection and Cancellation; No Redemption Value

A ticket is a revocable license and, prior to entry, admission may be refused upon refunding the ticket's face amount. Prior to entry, tickets will not be refunded if guest is under 21 or does not have valid identification.  Event Providers reserve the right, without refund of any amount paid, to refuse admission to, or eject, any person whose conduct management deems disorderly, who uses vulgar or abusive language, or who fails to comply with Event Provider rules.  Breach of terms or rules will terminate your license to attend the event without refund.   A ticket is not redeemable for cash.

 

You Are Subject to Search

You and your belongings may be searched on entry to the event.  Purchase of a ticket is deemed a consent to such searches and waive any unrelated claims that may arise.  If you elect not to consent to such searches, you may be denied entry to the event without refund or other compensation.  Certain items may not be brought into the premises, including without limitation: alcohol, drugs, controlled substances, video cameras, recording devices, bundles, and containers.
